42/365 – Like a Child.
I like to eventually go back to images from my childhood and observe what they tell me. I wonder what that kid was thinking and dreaming and if those thoughts and dreams are now a reality. I can’t remember and that’s probably fine.
Ideas often come from thoughts from the past and I find useful to source them in our previous lives. We all have stories worth to be told and stories make ideas become alive. Our own experiences and the pieces we are able to keep in mind – or the pieces we just reinvent by putting together fragments of incomplete memories – help create a message that’s new and contemporary.
Ideas not only emerge from our present but often come back from our past, a moment in time we don’t necessarily archive in our brain but our soul keeps somewhere. Go there and play with it!
