41/365 – About Drawing.
Drawing is my great passion. Everything related to illustration and visualization of something speaks to my life. I’ve always been passionate about drawing and using visuals to tell stories, share moments, explain thoughts. It became my work and it is today a big part of what I do.
I don’t consider myself a good illustrator or an artist, I don’t believe I have the skills or the qualities it takes to be an interpreter of our days, which is for me the role of an artist in society.
Nevertheless, I don’t give up. I keep practicing and trying, setting up new challenges and learnings in my life journey. Drawing is a form of expression and I admire those who found their style and are recognizable for that or those who have the talent to create without apparently any effort.
I have to put that effort into every single illustration or drawing I do and I believe that’s the beauty. It looks easy and natural from the outside but it’s a really difficult exercise each time. The satisfaction though of seeing it come to life is the main reason why I keep trying.
Just don’t give up and enjoy every little moment of creation of your life, regardless the result or the effort.
