9/365 – How to Get Things Done.

There’s nothing better than a friend to support you getting things done. She or he can be your touching point to check in for your idea, to validate your intuitions, to track your progress just by asking how it’s going from time to time. That check-in is essential to progress and feel that progress on yourself. I have periodic conversations with friends and colleagues to do exactly that and they help me to keep it real.
There’s nothing better than a friend to be telling your idea to: that way you make it real and tangible and suddenly even feel doable. What you want to do is to find the right person, someone you know (not necessarily too well) and test what you have in mind, just by sharing your story: you will understand more about your own idea by telling it to another person than by just keeping it in your heart and telling it to just yourself in your notebook or on your computer notes.
Friends are there for a reason and you need to make good use of them whenever you can.
An idea becomes immediately a friend once it becomes tangible, and you want your best friend to really know each other, don’t you?
