8/365 – Noticing.
A lot is about noticing things. Keeping your eyes open means keeping your heart open to possibilities; being creative means having the ability to keep that door open, to leave ideas and feelings come through without barriers.
In that regard, anything can be a piece of creation and I often find in daily routines the moment or the detail that will talk to me.
I love symmetry. Everything that’s a mirror to itself or creates the illusion of an order, makes me feel good. That’s what I mostly notice when taking a photo or looking for a frame for my drawings.
We don’t really define what is an idea or even what is a good idea, an idea calls us through a shape or a sign; if carefully listening, you could hear them calling your name and fishing for your attention.
For Roland Barthes was the punctum.
For me, today, it was how three objects aligned and balanced each other.
