78/365 – Behind It.
Many times, looking for an idea, we stop in front of the first thing we see or we come up with. It’s almost like being on this side of a window, seeing through it and not being able to get out of it.
In thinking about how to generate ideas I believe it is important to understand what that window is about.
Is it our fear?
Is it our exhaustion?
Is it time?
Is it somebody?
Is it something we are missing?
That glass is what we want to open to let the wind of expression flow freely and change the air in the room. That is what we want to understand how to open to see what comes through.
There’s nothing worse than seeing what’s out there and not being able to touch it. All we have to do is to open that bloody window.
