73/365 – Out of the Window
Why can’t “Thinking out of the window” be as good as “Thinking out of the box”?
For me they are the same thing, in both cases, you are looking for what’s not necessarily next to you, for what is out of the room, free in the sky, available to your eyes.
When I look for ideas I don’t look for them in the sky. Not literally. But in some way, I actually do so.
I look around, listen to the air, smell insights coming from a sentence, an expression, a smile.
The gesture of standing in front of a window and looking outside helps me realize I’m more than I see, more than my body and my thoughts.
I don’t need to look for anything because everything will come to me, from the outside in rather than from the inside out.
