305/365 – Mastery At Work.
It doesn’t happen often to see mastery at work, how someone who really understand what he or she is doing and applies it to their work in an excellent way.
It happens if you approach it with serendipity, if you are willing to let the moment emerge and show up at the right time.
It happens if you over time create the conditions for it to happen.
When I see mastery I usually smile. My smile is my recognition that something amazing and unique is happening and all the thinking I am putting around creativity and what makes creativity happen becomes concrete and tangible.
I admire talent and try to learn from it as much as possible. I listen, form my hears and from my heart. Even if I know something about it, I listen as if I didn’t know anything. Fresh ears. Fresh mind. Learn. Rethink. Everything.
