30/365 – Stealing is Legal
You shouldn’t steal ideas or pieces of ideas from others but you can definitely look at what others do as a form of inspiration.
I always thought the best way to learn is to copy. Picasso used to do the same. You learn by doing, and you learn to draw by drawing like the masters do, you are not a master when you are born.
Stealing is legal when it is done with consciousness.
Use the concept not the product.
Take it and make it meaningful for you.
Use it as a reference to re-think it.
Copy it with a different tool.
Give the copy back to the owner and ask for advice.
Stealing is not legal but sometimes it isn’t so bad if made with respect to the original.
