26/365 – Never Say No.
The secret is to never say no.
Never say no to an idea that comes your way, never decline an invitation to create, invent, dream. It’s usually very tiny and it doesn’t have a lot of energy, just like a newborn: our role is to take good care of it until it’s strong enough to walk with its feet.
“No” is the wrong answer.
While it has an immense value to be able to choose to say it when others ask you to do something, I believe it should be taken out of our options when we have a conversation with ourselves about doing something.
In a phase of brainstorming with our own mind or with friends and colleagues the word “no” creates the wall you don’t need in those moments. “Yes” creates space, possibilities, air, colors, feelings, safeness.
“Yes” cares while “No” neglects, most of the times.
“Yes” creates the space for things to emerge and we need that if we want at least one come up and emerge from conception to the surface of doing.
