257/365 – What We Don’t See.

In a creative process, we often want to make sure we are looking at the areas we don’t usually would look into. That makes our ideas and creativity fresher and offers more choices to choose from.

Typically we see what we have in front of us, what’s visible. We often don’t dare enough to dig deeper and look for what’s around us and not necessarily visible with clarity: looking “in between” what we see is a good practice for our creativity.

And so, when looking at something, you can ask yourself this question: What am I looking at? Am I looking at what shows up and makes it to my eyes and mind, or am I missing a part that would inform with its negative, its taking away, its visual synthesis?
