231/365 – Through Her Eyes.
It is a good practice to look at things through somebody else’s eyes.
Especially when doing over and over the same thing, or when we have the sense that’s what’s happening, it is good to give it another view. And that can be somebody we know but also a change in our position or an experiment with something completely new to us.
What’s important is that we are able to look at things with a fresh eye, possibly different from our usual habits.
I find that (my) kids are currently one of my main ways to adopt this different eye. They see things we don’t see, suggest connections we don’t think of, identify patterns we lose on our way. Their eyes and view are a constant reminder of how much our brain can create and see if we only take away every given limit.
