162/365 – Layers.
Time is often one of our best friends. We don’t always need to do all the job as time will volunteer to be our best support. We can plan and execute and then over time our inventions will take a new shape and new meaning.
It is by time passing by that we can realize the full potential and energy of something we have done: it is usually by looking at something we have done after some time that we can understand it and judge it for what it is.
Time creates layers of meaning and understanding, even where there wasn’t any. Time helps thing take a shape and value: our view changes over time along with the “thing”.
And in days like these, time helps me understand what this all exercise is about: measuring time as if it was layers of moments, not measuring the single moments for what they are. The real secret of it all resides in the end result, in the moment the layers will reveal and talk to me. My patience and waiting always bring somewhere, that’s the conviction of today.
